What was the highlight of Hotel Olympia Universidades

A gem of a hotel, ideally located with fantastic friendly staff.

The location is superb with Tram and metro links outside the door, to both the beach and the city centre. 15 minute walk to the Mestalla. The staff were all fantastic, the reception staff were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, especially Angel who was really wonderful.

I would have liked tea and coffee in the room, but to be fair coffee and drinks was available at reception 24/7 at very reasonable prices

Sometimes it was uncomfortable but generally it was OK.

The staff at reception is great. Especially the elder woman behaves so kind and helpful.

Breakfast hall is at the entrance and facilities here is a bit old. The staff here is so rude and does not want to help for anything. It was ridiculous and so sad. But again that elder woman came and managed the situation.

Very Good

The location of the hotel is good. We used a combo of walking and trams to get around. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is a little run down but everything (rooms, sheets, bathroom etc) is clean. The breakfast was delicious and there was a good range of vegetarian options. I would recommend this hotel for a stay in Valencia.

Wonderful

The location is very good, one block to the metro (subway), Tram stop in front of the hotel. There's a grocery store in the same block, quick access to beach by tram. Staff was nice to provide an early check in. Hotel and room was resonable clean.

It was not super clear that one night payment was required to confirm the reservation and the payment was made outside of the booking app. In the first instance it looked like a scam, I had to call the hotel to confirm if the payment system was legit.

Exceptional

Location - excellent. Conection - metro station and bus station in front of the hotel. Accommodation - peaceful, comfortable, clean, it has excellent breakfast as option. Staff - incredibly friendly, we had support at any moment. We really felt like we were at home.

Very Good

We had a great stay, rooms were clean and spacious. Reception staff are nice and helpful.

Staff at breakfast were rude, and they removed food from the table when we were still eating, I would suggest speaking to the old lady at breakfast to be more customers service orientated. We payed for food, she was not doing a favor!

Wonderful

Great location, it’s only 10 minutes from the train station, and also 10 minutes to the beach with the tram just outside the hotel. The room was clean and spacious. We got the room right next to the elevator but couldn’t hear it at all, nor the neighbors.

The AC was completely off when we arrived and it only works if you’re in the room with the card so it was quite hot at first, needs an hour to cool down the room.

Great location with public transport- we were right above the metro and the tram. There was a mini fridge so we were able to keep food and drinks cold! Daily housekeeping and aircon were amazing.

Wonderful

Good location, Continental breakfast was good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Clean room and comfortable bed.

No communal shower. We had a late flight and left our luggage and a shower would have been helpful.

Great hotel. Would highly recommend. We will be back.

Very clean and comfortable room with friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is in a great location with plenty of local restaurants and bars. Local transport is excellent to and from the beach and city centre. Would highly recommend this hotel.

All in all the stay here was very nice and would surely think of coming back here for my next visit!

The breakfast was nice. Location close to the metro station was very handy. It could easily take you to the city center or the beach in a matter of minutes. Also some shops nearby for some foods and drinks were handy. Staff were very friendly as well.

I let them know that my check in time would be between 13h and 14h. I came there at 13h and still had to wait until 14h30 until I could check in. They were asking if I was on my own, so I said yes, but I felt I then got a smaller room than a double room I asked for. I cannot confirm that, but I would like to know. That would be very sad, since I paid for that double (two persons) room. The reason I am doubting about the room I got is that it felt smaller than the pics I saw of it. This could just be a feeling. A bit of a downside was that the aircon could only be at 18°C at a minimum so it took quite some time for the room to cool down. You could only switch the aircon on being in the room, so you always came back into a rather hot room. The room and bathroom were reasonably clean although there was a lost hair from time to time that clearly did not come from myself. A little locker for valuables would have been handy to have. Now I had to pack those in my luggage again and close it down everytime I left the hotel.

Wonderful

The location is excellent: you have in front of the hotel the metro and tram station,lots of stores, 24h farmacy. 15 min by tram to Malvarosa beach.

Great place to stay in Valencia

Location is really good. Close to the underground and to the tram stop. I had to change my arrival time and the staff was really kind on the phone understanding my situation. At our arrival the receptionist gave us all the information needed (places near and how to reach them). Our room was quiet and the air-conditioning worked perfectly. All clean.

- Breakfast a little expensive. - Staff a little bit unpersonal (Except for Eduardo. The night guy. He was very nice) - Quite strange the reception decoration. It does not seem a hotel. - Iluminación of the room. Some dark spots.
